I'm trying to find a crankshaft position sensor for a car. On some sites they are showing as pulse sensor instead of position, is this the same thing or something totally different?

They do the same thing, but a pulse sensor is usually specified as a sensor for the flywheel, rather than crankshaft itself
What car is it ?
Make model reg that might help us find it for you.
Thanks for the quick replies.

That should be what you need then.
How do you know that is what you need ?
On my car it's an easy swap - on top of clutch /gearbox near flywheel.
Still stuck with a definate yes or no if a pulse is the same as position sensor.

Can anyone help with this?

@bigwheels The discount didn't work for me on that product yesterday.
