    car hire from manchester to london airport..

    Going on holiday from london airport..
    was wondering if anyone can recommend any deals or something- to hire a car fom manchester and drop off at heathrow...
    travelling with a 1 year old..

    we're both students..
    soo the cheaper the better...

    Try giving Enterprise a ring... I use them a lot. They pick you up too and take you to the office to sign the paper work...

    Have you tried flights? Maybe cheaper to fly down than travel.

    Another is to train it down the day before and stay in hotel overnight.

    checked trains too... its £100 per person..
    we'll have to travel at peak times..
    and then hotel too..

    just checked flights too.. £1440 pp..

    my dad, uncle, bro in law, father in law, other half's mate, are all volunteering for Free!!
    but its too much for a person...
    and we have a taxi firm in the family. xx

    Take a train, you will have to pay £27ish for the family rail card, 2 adults and 1 children at least need to travel at the same time.

    And choose OFF PEAK return, this will costs you around £130 for 3 of you. And because you have the railcard, so you can even take a Peak train, the tickets will still be valid. I did it before when I travelled to London before Xmas.
