Hi all, looking for medium sized car hire in the USA for November dates. Pickup/drop from airport would be preferable.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Use Kayak or Skyscanner to do a comparison. I have hired cars a few times in the US over the past years and depending on the location and time different companies work out cheaper. .

OP.
Your question could be read, like you want recommendations for the car and not on any rental companies.

The car might depend on how many are going to travel in it and how many bags you've got, plus the terrain you're travelling over.
If you're driving off road at any point, if you're travelling long distances between locations or just travelling around a city.

In the past I've used all the major ones, plus HoildayAutos and AutoEurope.
But, as mentioned above, check the sites listed and Expedia etc.

rentalcars.com gets you all the insurances you need as well.

I always use Alamo or national as everything's included there's no up sell at the airport and you get to choose your car from the line of the car class you book.

alamo.co.uk/brits

fully inclusive car hire plus free addtional driver and 10% discount.

Used a few times with no problems.

Officially for readers of Brit guide so they may ask for your copy (can pick one up on eBay for a few quid) but I have never been asked to show.
