Car insurance is up for renewal next month and was wondering if there were any companies you may be aware of that guarentee to beat your current renewal quote?

Thanks in advance.

i renewed mine on sunday-i suppose it depends on your circumsatnces etc but swift cover have always been the cheapest for me. moneysupermarket recommended them and this time, i rechecked just to make sure-and everyone else quoted around £600 more.

try moneysupermarket-they check most companies for you

Yeah, I've been using confused. Been with Swift cover for the last 2 years but they put my insurance premium up £80 and haven't added my extra year of no claims on.

Was going to ring them to see:

a) Why it's gone up
b) Why they haven't added on my additional years no claims discount

try footmanjames and tiger.co.uk

It's gone up because that's what they do. Your extra year won't make any difference. It'll be swallowed up by the increase.

i find gocompare.com to be the best comparison site.

Nearly every single renewal quote can be beaten with just a single search, without having to resort to price beating guarantees. Loyalty to insurance companies does not pay. I have been with 5 different insurance companies in 6 years, each year swapping and changing to get the best rate.

been with Churchill for over 6 years, just renew every year without paying a deposit but going for a bigger car and costing me an extra £20 per month, so renewal is up in May and will be changing it and maybes go through Quidco too for extra cash.

totally agree - mine went up 50% this year so shopped around and got it 10% or so cheaper than last year (with the same flippin' company - scammers!).

First Direct will beat your renewal quote by at least 10%.

I was with swiftcover but their sister company AXA gave me a better deal via moneysupermkt
