    It's a great idea but it's blatantly the beginning of the end as we know it....I knew they'd eventually start charging for air consumption. :giggle:

    According to the link, it'll cost about $15,000 and I can't say it looks as nice as some but it'll save £1,000's in the long run.

    good morning RFM ... wouldn't be good for some as they can only reach 60 mph !!
    why not though? we need something!

    Runs on air, Pretty cool, It's a good idea but doubt many people will buy it, Hopefully the big manufactures can develop some in the future.

    The tanks can be filled with air from a compressor in just three minutes … The tanks can be filled with air from a compressor in just three minutes - much quicker than a battery car. Alternatively, it can be plugged into the mains for four hours and an on-board compressor will do the job. For long journeys the compressed air driving the pistons can be boosted by a fuel burner which heats the air so it expands and increases the pressure on the pistons. The burner will use all kinds of liquid fuel



    Good that engineers are exploring new technologies. It looks like a good idea for short journeys, but so did the Sinclair C5!!
