Not sure if this is the right group, but it's a bargain:

This is an excellent seat, so easy to use, but I wouldn't put anyone under 3 (or even 4 if they're on the small side) in it as it's likely to not contain them properly.

And it doesn't really recline as such, you can position the seat part a little forward to give it a slight recline but I have a four year old in one and the lack of proper recline isn't an issue at all.

Britax evolva 123 may be suitable- I bought one for the grandparents car. However they dont recline much and are fiddly to recline. I don't think you'll find anything which reclines very much and covers stages 1 2 3. At least I couldn't when I looked 6 months ago!

Amazon have Britax First class group 0,1 for £88 delivered - it's pink mind!!!! Not sure if thats what ya looking for?

was looking at the Britax evolva 123. i signed up for reviews on which? and a seat similar to this (Britax
Multi-Tech) got a 'don't buy' status, although all the other Britax seats were up there with the best. There was no specific test on the evolva, so has put me off a bit

A group 1,2,3 of decent quality that reclines properly is going to cost. A lot.

Like this babyoka.co.uk/pro…tml for £119.99

I think that your best bet, if that is simply too much, is to go for a 0/1 that reclines now and pick up a simple booster seat for peanuts when your children are old enough (probably about 4 years old).

For instance, Argos has this 0/1 for £36.99 argos.co.uk/sta…htm for instore pickup only.

think you're right. May just go for 0/1+ option. Any good deals on reputable ones out there. Budget up to 100 per seat

+1 good seat I had three of these at one point, try to get the one with the belt tensioner gives extra security, I paid less than £100 for them from mothercare & halfords if you can wait untill they are on offer, sometimes if you take out a mothercare card you get £25 off so works out well, then just pay off the card:thumbsup:

I have 2 of those top pic storchenmule car seats in the pink flower colour and they are lush! - they are by recaro and are totally worth the money (if you can afford it as i think the pink colour was £140 ish) My girls will be in them for a few years so they were worth it - they are so comfy too.

The maxi cosi priori XP is good but my tall 2 year old is out of it already so you dont get much use for your money unless you have a reasonably petite child!

my little girl is an average 4yr old and she still fits in it height wise, she is heavy though and is out the weight range now, still good for height though
