Hi,

My wifes new (to her) car has got light coloured fabric seats. To keep them looking clean i wanted to put a scotchgard type protector on them. Can anyone recommend any particular product?

thanks in advance

Autoglym lifeshine upholstery protector is good. You can purchase it from Ebay but try and find one from a reputable seller.

A lot of the opened kits are watered down(typically dealership valeters using some of the product and then keeping it to sell on ebay).

3M scotch guard is also good. You can find this on Amazon/ebay in an aerosol can form.

You may also want to keep a bottle of autoglym interior cleaner and a microfiber cloth handy incase of any spills etc.

Also, the fabric guards tend to fade after 3-5 months so will need reapplying to a clean seat.

Auti finesse caramics interior protection kit claims up to 12 months protection. I haven't tried this yet though.
