Anyone know of the cheapest place to get one of these from? Seen one at £20 on Tesco Direct but not really wanting to spend more than a tenner?

This is a good brand one just over ]https//sh…wwQ

or you can get the Carbon monoxide patches of Ebay for around £3.

Ditto above. B&Q sometimes have them on offer but Lloyds are consistently the cheapest. I got one for my parents & i bought mine there. They do need to renewed apparently every 3/4 years as their effectiveness diminishes according to the gas Man ;-)

I don't know if there are any Lloyds around here, but will check out B&Q at the weekend. Do you know if they have mains or plug in versions or are they mostly like this at the cheap side?

You can get mains wired ones as that's the sort you see in holiday lodges etc. Had a quick google search & they seem to start around £35 +vat & delivery , but I don't recognise the companies that sell them. An idea might be to give your local fire station a phone call as they normally hold information on products & suppliers for smoke detectors - they may have some info on carbon monoxide alarms as well or could point you int he right direction ?

I saw some in B&Q about 10 days ago for £10 (Battery operated) - I thought them a good buy, but I already have one.
