cash back from carphone warehouse......

when my partner got his new contract with carphone warehouse, they told him that when he recieved his 4th bill that he would recieve £90 cashback, all he has to do is take his bill into the store. before he does this does anyone know how they pay this, is it cash or cheque? and how reliable are they? ive got a funny feelin something will go wrong, its seems to easy and too good to be true. thanks for any help.

so you had to post your bill? so surely there wont be any problems if we take it into the store like he was told?:?

i'm not sure how long his contract is for. they only said bill 4 to him and to take it instore. he finishes work at half 4 so he'll probably go into town and do it then. i'll let you know what happens............

Oddly (perhaps) the Carphone Warehouse subsidiaries (Onestopphoneshop, e2save etc) are better with cashback than CPW themselves. CPW quote 60 days for cashback on their site and, in my experience, they take the full 60 days and more if they can. Perhaps Mr Dunstone's cash flow is a bit shaky nowadays!

Just hope they keep going until my current cashback deals run out. :whistling:

Funny that.I sent all three of mine by recorded and they lost every one!
Always payout though after giving the tracking number :-D

Never heard of them doing this instore ?

he went instore with his bill, they scanned the bill and told him the cheque would be sent to him, but they did not say how long it would take and he (stupidly!) didnt ask.

i dont think so but he's pretty good at kicking up a stink if anything goes wrong.

carphone warehouse stink!

i bought an iphone and it tracked but they repeatedly declined, this time their excuse is i didnt meet their requirements. i am fuming because it is a whole £60 (at least) and on a £45 pm contract, and i had been very careful about using Quidco and wouldnt have gone online to purchase (too much effort to go through Quidco because you have no say in how this tracks). Been using Quidco successfully for several years so no reason why it wouldnt have tracked, i even cleared my cookies before buying!
