Cash on Collection - Safest Place to Meet??

I'm having issues selling my ps3. The person agreed on 255 cash on collection. I chose a shopping centre as I would it would be safe as there are people around (unlike meeting behind a cinema alley or something lol)... is there any place that both buyer and seller can feel safe and secure?

Starbucks is coming to my mind right now lol

outside a police station, in a macdonalds etc

omg, I forgot about the police station! :P I'm so stupid.... alright, thanks guys!

In a bank and get him to withdraw the cash there, and then make the exchange, plus it will be on CCTV too.

How true that may be! While you are there they will all be in starbucks drinking coffee and eating donuts!

My suggestion would be a Services area - preferably motorway.

Alley way or under a subway.

your house??? or isnt that safe lol

I always go for trains/tube stations. Lots of CCTV, transport police and commuters. Just try not to arrange it at rush hour.

Local park, at night - make sure you wear an all black ninja suit with black daps.

    You've gone nuts.

    Tesco value nuts.

    stop bickering children

    In traffic on the M25

some of them places sound safe, but the buyer might not turn up

Get them to collect from your home, you dont have to let them in.

The last thing you want to do is arange a meet up somewhere and the buyer doesnt turn up - you would have to be carrying a PS3 around with you for no reason, you might even get jacked.

I don't think I'd want some random from ebay turning up at my house.

I have sold many things to many people at my house some more dodgy than others but 99% of the time they are decent people

WHen i meet them I keep the pepper spray in my pocket at all times in case they are gonna try and pull anything but never had any problems

take a big bloke with you....

It's a lot of money for someone to hand over in exchange for a 'brick' if you get my drift. I wouldn't do a handover without adequate proof of the working or a 'confirmed' home address should anything go wrong in the transaction.

Why did the original buyer pull out ?

    Cheers
