Hi all i have dummy cctv camera watching over an alleyway which feeds two other houses back yards, the said alleyway is on my property am i infringing any rights recording this alleyway if i buy real cctv?

Well they said the alleyway is your property so.. you can record it? right? I've an 8 channel 24/7 system points to other gardens/driveways and records non-stop due to break-ins and our car kept getting damaged by our **** of a neighbour. Some neighbour’s have even requested our footage (can charge for it but w/e)

You can fit and operate a CCTV system to the outside of your property, provided it doesn’t infringe on anyone else’s right to privacy. For example, you may breach the Human Rights Act if your CCTV camera is pointing directly into a neighbour’s bedroom
