Cdiscount question RE faulty goods?

Hi All

As most know CDiscount are all but gone but i wondered if anyone was in the process of refunding/exchanging something and what theyve been told. I have a faulty TomTom that im trying to alert them too, its only two months old and after several emails no one is replying.

I paid on credit card so not too worried, but how long do you give them before claiming back through the credit card company.

Also, do i still send the item back or not if no on ereplies?

just had a set of logitech speakers replaced by logitech as they werre 1 month out of pc world warranty.....they just sent me a new set out after contacting them, i was well chuffed......thought that was it

Contact Tomtom via their support section. They are very efficient in dealing with warranty repairs. They'll send you prepaid packaging to send the unit away with & return it quite quickly. My last repair > Sent Monday, returned Friday. couldn't knock them for anything. Whole process stress free.

Ahhhh some good info on there, cheers for that. Will give them a try and see if they can fix it. I did phone another TomTom number and they were very uninterested.

I had just returned something to them but not yet had a refund, I got this in reply to my queries and have since been refunded by my credit card company.

Please be advised that I was appointed Provisional Liquidator of the above company on
Friday 6th November 2009 by the High Court in Ireland.

processed. Furthermore, refunds from the Company will not be possible due to the

• Your finance provider may ask you for proof that the Company cannot afford to

• Customers without the possibility of a card issuer refund can lodge a claim as an
