Kodo from ebay, around £20 - £30 made by the same people as GHD. I have bought a pair for both my wife and my mum and they both think they are excellent.

Obviously GHD's are the best...but expensive...but some would say worth it

if you can afford it id definatly recommend GHD's, i swear by them used lots of different straightners and most only straighten for a few hours, GHD's keep my hair straight between hair washes no problem! Without them my hair is really wavy with them its literally poker straight well worth the investment!!

Yeh I hear GHD from people, specially worth the money if its something you going use regular.

Boots have got Remington professionsal 230 straighteners on a half price offer - down to £35 (and you can get points using your card). Apparently they heat up to 230degrees, which is hotter than most starighteners, and so keeps hair straighter for longer.

    Hope this helps

the two best straighteners on the market (in my opinion) are GHD (of course) and windles (available from their covent garden salon). Bought my windles about 3 years ago and still going strong. My mum's GHDs are still working excellently too.
