Have CEX got a phone number.

Been searching on the net for CEX sunderland phone number and cant find anywhere

You would think they'd have one on their website.
A quick google search and I found this:
"As of 13th July 2008, Customer Services have moved from a call centre operation to a web-based emailing service called WeCare.

Due to the nature of the company, CeX believes that a web-based service would be more beneficial for our customer base.

I hate cex so much.

Appalling service from ignorant college drop-out staff (that usually have very poor personal hygiene)

And their prices are a rip-off, and the store stock online is usually wrong

I ordered a £325 mobile from them on Wednesday evening, they advertise next day delivery, but I still havnt received it. I have sent them 4 emails and they havnt replied! The online order tracker shows my order as dispatched, but I didn't receive a email. Appalling customer services!

It would be nice to be able to speak to somebody, i called the telephone number on the web site to be told there is no telephone number. The cost of an 0845 number. My Son took a mobile in yesterday to sell, to be told not selling for cash only vouchers. So now i'm confused as i thought this company sold for cash and i have no number to call. I do not want to make the same wasted trip into town as my son did yesterday to be told the same thing

I just want to call and find out if they are open today, being Easter Monday, and I don't want to drive 30 miles and find its shut! No point emailing for that, if they do reply it will probably be too late.

I was in their Lisburn Co Antrim store this morning to buy a pre- owned game for my son , it was priced at £10on the game & on their website at £10 , when i got to the till the idiot who served me said it had went up in price this morn to £15 when i complained he just shrugged his shoulders& said that the guy was pricing them but hadn't reached my game to price it yet and refused to sell me it at the marked pice !!! When I got home i couldn't get a contact number anywhere to complain further , so lesson learned I will not be back in CEX if that's the way they treat their customers !!!!

I sent my £120. Phone and havnt got my money back. I wish the police or traiding standerds aigency. Do somthing about this because this is against the law.......

They sold me a stolen phone,£275,and are refusing to give me a refund.When I asked for the number of the head office,was given the number for McDonalds.Bunch of ****.I am going to report them to Trading Standards,and if necessary,I will take this further.Very Angry Walthamstow.

I sold my Iphone 4 to CEX.
They gave me the price at the time they looked at the phone, 2 weeks later than I sent it, rather than the price at the time I sent it.
The bank transfered the lower price and sent a cheque for the remainder. I paid the cheque in and it bounced! They put a stop on the cheque. I've had no email explaining why and no respons to my emails.
AVOID!

I sent them my ipod shuffle to sell..still not received a payment from them..Its now been a month..Ignored my emails and the
only phone number that you can find on the internet doesn't exist..Will never post anything again to them, nor buy from them on-line..can't be trusted and about time the trading standards or someone chased them up..

Yep same - no reply from a broken phone worth £500,
Rude staff & no help - 48 hour return to be told, go home apply online for a repair and refund.
Went back next day and was told 48 hours had passed so mo money refund.
But can sell it back to them @ a £300 loss.
Crazy gets as if I'm just going to do that £300 in a few days for nothing.
Cex is just a con shop and someone like watchdog and trading standards should shut all shops down.
There no better than them con shops,
After reading reviews I'm glad I never sent it in to there repair shop never to see it again,
For a fee of £40 iv got it repaired @ local phone place,
There all to well know of the cons at cex.

Ha I had a problem with them and rang them on the number supplied on here, the manageress called me back really snotty and asked how i had the number, I said i couldnt remember lol

i sent a xbox game back they recieved it on june 10. i was assured a month later there was delays in refund process and it was on priority list. we are now first day of september. still no refund . i know its only 10 pound but now its a matter of principle. this company is disgusting. . .they pay the minimum for your goods to sell on at a large profit. . .then they send you a faulty game which you cant get refund for...

Im angry because CEX are such idiots! Yes been trying to find a phone number,to no avail,to save me trailing 12miles on a bus just to see if theyve a game instore,my son cycled 6miles there to one branch,no game,cycled 6 back! So he chose diffrent 1he said had loads of on shelf,i look online today,NONE are in,any store thought try further out,but NO NUMBER to check,not even a 0871! It really is crap!

Most CeX numbers are on saynoto0870.com - they don't answer a lot of the times as they mainly use mobile phones now, but the bristol branch pick up at least 50% of the time

If you're looking for new releases at CEX, you will get ripped off, no doubt about that.
I only go there when I'm looking for an oldish game since most of the time they are the cheapest.

You should also note that theres patters to their pricing and from what I see, its based around holiday periods. If you buy games when the prices are lower, most of the time you can get your money back in exchange credit when you resell them when the prices go up again. A few times I've even made a couple of quid extra.
Since I got PS+ though, I've hardly been going there.

You should take them to the small claims court, you definitely have a case.
