I was also charged for it (I don't mind too much, but it doesn't state anywhere you'd be charged for taking payment from paypal - not even in the T&Cs). I'd have chosen Bank Transfer otherwise. It's only £5.81 though... But figured would I be within my rights to complain?

if so, it's two extra pints for me at the weekend!

i have got paid by paypal before too with no charge. Was supposed to get £16 today for a game i traded in but paypal deducted £0.76... guess i will be using my bank in the future

Only gift payments are free on Paypal and only then if its from money already in the senders account or from a debit card everything else is surcharged

Fair enough! Had they expressed this on the final confirmation page - I wouldn't have selected paypal at all. Wonder what happens if return payment to CEX... Reckon they'd let me use bank transfer instead?

2 pints for £5.81? Bloody hell, that would only get me a pint and a packet of peanuts here!

Haha, im off down liverpool at the weekend.

It can cost anywhere from £2 - 3.50 for a decent pint up here. Spoons... Burger and a pint for about £5

£1.50 a pint in sunny Boro.

Always take bank transfer when using Cex.

No, I didn't know anything regards of what's currently on. Just meeting up some some old fiends from uni from 3 year ago, but I'd imagine I will be seeing them at some stage lol.
