    CEX VOUCHER SALE VALUE?

    Hi,

I have a couple of items to trade into CEX of which I can exchange for £400 CEX vouchers.

What is the re-sale value of these vouchers? Will I get £390?!

    80%

also considering youve just signed up to this site youll probalay have to send the vouchers 1st to a potential buyer,

Agreed no one will pay £390 for £400 of CEX vouchers. 80% is the standard rate.

Being able to verify selling credentials elsewhere should be no issue. Also, if CEX do give vouchers in £100's I can send £100 get payment and so on.

I can get £365 cash for the item so don't seem viable to go through the hassle of selling privately for the 80% value......

I'm in no rush so will monitor this if need be lost them for sale.

Happy holidays and thanks for the input guys

    *list them for sale

On here 80% is the going rate, but post them for what you value them at.

In this case it would be better to accept cash from cex of £365, than take £400 vouchers to then immediately try to sell the vouchers as the going rate of about 80% means you get less; supply and demand comes into as well.

It's convenient to sell cex vouchers here when you happen to have some that are no longer needed.

Might take a punt and list them for £380!

Selling credentials elsewhere are not valid here, as above it's 80% but you may list them at whatever price you want. You would also be required to send them first unless it was Paypal goods / services.

I would just take cash from cex pal.

is it really worth the risk when realistically youll get £320 for them?

    £360 no chance, £320 maybe

Ive never understood some of the unreasonable expectations people have when selling vouchers here. In this case, why would someone would trade £390 CASH that could be spent in any store, for £400 that can only be spent in CEX? Then factor in the hassle of buying the voucher (paypal, emails/postage etc) and the added risk that you could be ripped off (not talking about OP, just these kinds of posts in general) all for the sake of a £10 saving on a £400 purchase?!?

Some joker was trying to sell £40 amazon credit for £39 paypal ***gifted*** PLUS 79p POSTAGE the other day!! 21p saving on a £40 spend???

    Question
What did you end up doing with these?

I'll give you £100 in Woolworths book tokens as a trade?
