Hi,

Anyone know if you can use Chainsaw oil in a regular paper-shredder to lubricate the Shredder teeth?

Or is it a different oil all together?

Why? You don't need lubricated teeth in a shredder, I've never lubricated my one.

You do have to lubricate the shredder teeth, I only found this out the other week from a deal on here.
This was confirmed by googling Shredder Oil for Rexel for example

I just need to know if Chainsaw oil can be used instead?

Yeah should be fine. Basically just needs a line that can withstand high temperatures! Chainsaw lube shouldn’t be a problem here.

I’m no expert though so take my word as you will
The answer is yes, you can use it. I use 5w30 Car oil on mine
I cant see why not but i wouldn't use too much of it chainsaw oil is crazy sticky.
