Probaly if you can prove you used them in the past. Might say in your contract it has to diadvantage you to a certain amount though.

Will they want the phone back just sold it

the phone is not part of the contract, its more of an incentive, well i know thats the case for other networks. Check your original contract but i doubt it is, so you shouldn't have to send it back

Surely they are one and the same? If they change the price of something in a contract then that is changing the contract...!

i just argued this point with them and they offrered me 1 month free, i said no then the lady said her manager said i can leave and that the 1 month free was to see if i would stay and if not they would let me cancel ,they let me cancel right there and then so i would keep trying and they will let you leave.

I got a similar message from Vodafone regarding 118 numbers. I use them a fair bit as the net on my HTC magic was a bit slow, i phoned up to see if i could cancel, they agreed i could but offered me a iPhone 3GS 32GB upgrade now (was 26/5/10) instead of December 20th. I agreed and am quite happy with it, although i think the desiree might have been a better choice for me as the iPhone battery is terrible.
