    Changing call plans on T-mobile

    I was looking for some advice regarding my T-mobile phone contract.

    I took out a contract in May this year and received documentation saying that I have to wait 6 months before changing to a lower price plan.

    I called today and was told that this is not possible as there is now an 11 month minimum before they allow a change.

    Ill obviously be contacting customer services but was wondering what my rights were?

    ask them to review the t&cs at the date you set it up as if they have changed them without telling you, you can cancel your contract without penalty, you should have received a copy with your handset, threaten to cancel on these grounds and they should back down pretty quick, if you dont get any joy with cust' services ask to be transfered to retentions department (cancellations) who should bend over backward to keep the contract.

    Thank you, that is what I thought. Though it would be nice to be able to cancel the contract if they have changed the T&Cs.
