Hello , I opened a PayPal dispute and returned a very expensive item because it was significantly not as described or a counterfeit . I returned it tracked via Hermes last Wednesday on the next day delivery service , however , the package seems to be stuck in transit and no updates since it was collected by the courier .

Unless it is delivered and the tracking can prove it then I won’t get my refund of £700 . Paypal have advised me that I can do a chargeback but would my bank approve the chargeback if the item isn’t actually delivered back to the merchant , although I do have proof of the return , the return being picked up etc

If anybody has any experience or advice then please share , it is very appreciated , thank you
