http://www.laterooms.com/en/hotel-reservations/153418_hilton-strathclyde-hotelbellshill.aspxquite a nice wee place...it's near the secc and is only a few quid in a taxi to city centrehttp://www.laterooms.com/en/hotel-reservations/150983_ibis-glasgow.aspxbit nicer and slap bang in middle of town

That 1st link is for Bellshill Hilton - yeah ? I wouldn`t say that was near the SECC going by my knowledge of the area. Did you link the correct hotel mate.? Hilton to expensive for this occassion anyway...

Ibis looks fine, so am away to look for discounts and quidco etc on that one.

They only have the Ewington left which is a couple of miles outside the centre. Short taxi fare. Away to have another look. The £29 for the night is making me look into with some thought. Have some rep anyway for the link.

try etaphotel.com/gb/…tml its within a £5 taxi ride to city centre or a 10 min walk

Try The Etap Hotel In The Quay Rooms Are 39 A Night Basic But Not A Hostel Very Close To City Centre And Secc Ect

Yep, I agree with those above and think the ETAP is probably your best bet close to town. You sometimes get good deals at the Ibis of the Novotel up near Sauchiehall Street too and you could also try the Holiday Inn Express (Theatreland) as they sometimes do good deals.
