Cheap Android box help. (£20 budget)

Looking for an Android box for my step dad, something powerful enough for some classic roms and emulators, as well as kodi.

I currently own the A95x 16gb (2gb ram). But the price has gone up to around £30+.

I'm looking for someone to point me into the right direction for something closer to £20. When it comes to specs, I get a tad lost with these boxes. But wouldn't mind something with SD card support, usb game pad input and hopefully preset up for kodi etc.

Basically something simular to the a95x box.

Thanks in advance

Have you looked at firesticks - they on offer at the moment for around 25£

There's a site - amzreviews - where you can request big discount codes from the seller, you must then provide a review once you've gotten your item

firestick is great that's what i use and its hidden behind your TV

Don't think firestick is any good for games? Plus doesn't have card reader.
I think you will struggle for £20 budget. This is what I have
android box

It's about £9 over your budget though

Base models from reputable suppliers offering credible warranty will cost about £24 delivered ex-UK, example amazon.co.uk/dp/…04/
Maybe £20 if via the slow boat from China with best-of-luck warranty.

Thanks for the reply, It's pretty simular to my a95x, but an 8gb hdd. I'll up budget a bit and see about the one you've posted or another a95x
Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks for the suggestion, I own a fire stick with kodi. I felt it was a tad unreliable and a little difficult to get things on it. The android box of currently have is a lot easier to set up so once it's in my step dad's hands I don't want him struggling to use or update.

Richie100 has suggested a decent box, but I think it's roughly around the same price as the current box I have. Will grab that instead.

U can add a memory card to it if that helps.

I just had a better look, comparing specs. They are basically identical boxes. Just the USB lay out is a little different.

I'll wait on his response, see if he is interested in it, and i'll grab him it for Xmas.
Thanks for all your help =]

I went with the box you suggested above, was £28.06 for the standard 8gb, or £29.65 for the 16gb, so grabbed the 16gb. £30-31 with insurance. Stepdad should be a happy guy for Xmas. =D
