Hiya,

I normally use ]http//ww….uk when I am looking for books. WH Smith is particularly good in that you can save on delivery and pick it up from your local store.

thanks.......anymore good sites??

Try searching here for book sites and prices:

gb.bookbutler.com/?pi…ntw

The following sites probably wont help much if you have a specific book list but might be worth a look just in case:

This is a good site for swapping books
readitswapit.co.uk/The…D=1
but the down side is having a book on your list that the owner wants to swap with.

revolvingbooks.co.uk/cgi…cgi is a similar idea but with credits.

greenmetropolis.com/boo…=LE
"We are a company dedicated to encouraging our members to recycle their books, therefore whether it’s a latest release or last year’s bestseller, all paperbacks, hardbacks and audio books all cost just £3.75 to buy (and include free delivery on all standard sized paperbacks). Plus we donate 5p from the sale of each book to the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity the Woodland Trust, to support Woodland Creation."

HTH.

]find-book.co.uk

It's ok, might be worth a try.

They may have a book you're after here:

***ebay link removed***

I've used them before and they've been fine.

Snozz

Sorry snozz, it's against forum rules to link to individual eBay sellers or stores, so I removed the link in your post.

use amazon, don't order directly from them check out the market place, i just ordered my uni books from there yesterday, got brand new books for less then the rrp....
paid 17 for a 30 quid book

also ]bookbrain.co.uk

Also worth keeping an eye out on Uni notice boards as previous students often sell their text books. If your campus has a book store they may also sell secondhand text books, and the students union may hold book events. The library is also a useful resource...... it is that big building over there that swots tend to go in
