Cheap camera from Amazon warehouse

Edited by:"Quicklite"Found 6th Feb
Hi guys,
Looking to get a £50-70 camera - saw one in the (Amazon) warehouse - it's not too expensive as to annoy one if it stops working after a year or so - though obviously keen for it to work for a good while.

I see that they have the 30 days coverage - though after 30 days do Amazon tend to help? (have searched online though I seem to get different answers - some people have good experience when the item has problems after the 30 days, some less so - is this one of those your mileage may vary things?).

You would be better of getting a second one from eBay. So many buy camera for holidays and only use them a few times you can get a camera that may of cost £150 18 months ago for £50 with the box and instructions.
The 30 days you mentioned is the period where if you don't like it, you can send it back. Just like a "regular" purchase.

Your consumer rights should be the same as buying it brand new. You should still get the same warranty period.
That's my understanding anyway.

I'd recommend contacting Amazon themselves if you're unsure.
Plus I'd buy from Amazon Warehouse over second hand from eBay.

I've bought a few things from Warehouse, and I've not had any problems.
