Cheap computer needed upto £150 max

Found 21st Apr 2008
My friend is in desperate need of a cheap computer. will only be used for office apps and eventually internet.

£150 is max my friend can pay as she has recentely paid of some bills. She needs it just for college work etc so wants to get one asap. She dont mind if its second hand or new

perferbly cheaper than £150 and with a mointor.

I know its probably going to be a case of her getting a second hand one, but I wondered if there were any cheap old clearance ones about from any stores or online.

Is she looking for a new computer or a used one? Need a monitor?

if she can stretch to it, she could get ]thisnew PC for £188.07 (inc VAT and delivery)

but again, for this price, you would be hard pushed to get a monitor with it.

When I'm looking for PC's I always buy from eBay.

She should be able to get hold of an old CRT monitor for nothing if she doesn't mind asking around. Businesses now have to pay to dispose of them as far as I'm aware, this includes schools and colleges, so she could always try her look, I'm sure they'd rather give them away than have to pay to get rid.
