Cheap days out in Norfolk & Suffolk!?

Can anyone recommend any good places to go around Norfolk & Suffolk? I need some activities to do next week. So far I have Go Ape at Thetford Forest and Africa Alive Zoo near Lowestoft. If desperate we may go to Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park for the day but that really is if we are out of ideas as it is a bit pants there now!

    Thanks

I know a few places in Norfolk that we have been to:

    Dinosaur Adventure Theme Park
    Bewilderwood (which our children loved)
    Banham Zoo
Hunstanton or Great Yarmouth Sea Life Centre.

All enjoyed by us - if you want further details, I can give them to you. Hope that helps

NOO dont go to pleasurewoods hill!! That place is SKANK! I hate it, overprice and ****. Erm yeh go ape, try around the broads, the village at felbrigg, banham zoo, north norfolk railway, dino park, bewilderwood!

I'm not sure how old your kids are but there is a nice place called Easton Farm Park in Suffolk. Loads for the children to do !

Its a bit "tired" now - even with that new rollercoaster (which is rubbish and very painful). I have a 2 for 1 voucher though so could be a cheap day out but only if we can't find anything better to do.

Its just me and my boyfriend, no kids! We just want to do something fun during our week off from work but there doesn't seem to be that much to do.

go book a b&b in sheringham, lovely town at north norfolk coast.

The sealife centres are really expensive - You can use Tesco vouchers for this and a few attractions so worth checking out the clubcard deals website and ordering in advance - May take a couple of days to get the vouchers.

Colchester Zoo maybe another option (depending on where you are based) - Again available as a Tesco deal.

Africa Alive/Dinosaur Adventure/Banham zoo are all owned by the same group - You go to 2 and get the third free (within a calendar year). See ]http//ww…om/ for more info. They are all good especially for younger kids (not that older ones won't enjoy them).

Go to the local tourist information or places where they have local attraction leaflets - There are a couple of them that have pages of discount vouchers inside.

For a free day out in suffolk go here

I would highly recommend it, lovely farm shop, animal trail with goats pigs etc and a really nice coffee shop with home made cakes, lovely food and local beer and cider. You can buy a bag of animal feed to feed the goats etc.

I would not recommend the sea life centre at Yarmouth it is utterly hideous.

Ok, we went to Go Ape yesterday (and had a brilliant time, highly recommended - although I am very sore today!) BUT typically the good old British weather has set in and the rest of the weeks weather looks terrible!

    Boo!

I am suppose to be going to the Zoo tomorrow, I dont think it will be much fun in the rain!
