Yeah thats cool as the application has been sent so will hopefully have it back in the next few days!! Thanks for the heads up though!!

Absolute minimum is going to be £1,000 and all the prices for the dates you've selected are over £1,100. Tbh it's far too late to book a flight like that cheaply.

A few other things, why are you only going for 4 days? With the flight time and 8 hour time difference you would be able to spend about 2 days tops there. And shanghai is an expensive airport to fly too from the U.K. If you're really adamant on going to China and cheaply it would be better if you flew to Hong Kong and got the train to Shanghai, which again would take more time away.

quick look on google dial a flight recon they can do it for around 500 quid, but a week including flying wouldn't be worth it. Also the train idea from either hongkong or beijing isn't a bad idea.
We got the train from beijing to hongkong last year and its a nice trip just remember no noice after 12 or you get told off.

Cheapest I've found so far is £807.27. I'm going for a work trip but I'm flexible on the dates providing it leaves on the 21st then I can stay for a week instead of 4 days etc.
