Cheap Holiday to Disneyland Paris?

9
Found 17th Mar 2009
Hi,

I am looking at going to Disneyland Paris at the end of September. It will just be two adults. I have pretty much decided on the hotel, its around £240 for us both for two nights / three days staying at one of the cheaper Disney Hotels. The price includes hopper tickets to the parks for three days and breakfast so that is pretty good (for Disney!)

However, just getting there is making the price shoot up. I live in Norwich so would need to get the train from Norwich to London which is around £50 each return (I am going by dates for May 2009 as you can only view three months in advance). I am considering getting a coach up there to bring down the cost of that.

I would then need to get to St Pancreas to get the Eurostar to Disneyland, this is about £90 each return. So that's nearly £150 each on just getting there!

I have looked at coach trips but they are either too short, too long, don't stay in a Disney Hotel (which I would really like to) or are ridiculously expensive!

Does anyone know of any holiday providers that do Disneyland Paris trips which include travel that don't cost a fortune?!

Thanks

have u tryed easy jet into paris then getting on one of the disney shuttle busses when you get there we did this

i usually drive to disneyland, and we stay in the towns surrounding it. Here's an example that i have stayed in and i'd give it 5 out of 5 booking.com/hot…The beauty of this is that it's an appartment and the kids can go to be upstairs and you don't have to tiptoe arround the hotel room oln site at disneyland. This is also a cheaper option . Try lastminue or expedia for bargain bookings
If you do it this way you can also pick up some duty frees and turn your trip into a mini booze cruise. Oh yes, you can buy admission tickets from any disney store in the uk or get them online for a slight discount. I bought mine from disney cardiff and this helped me spread the cost of the trip further. Hope this is of help

oh yes.. you can book the ferry for less than 35 quid each way... with sea france

I had thought of flying but Norwich Airport is rubbish and doesn't fly to Paris so I would need to get down to Stanstead or Gatwick which would cost a fortune in itself!

Thanks but my boyfriend doesn't want to drive there. We can't fly out as we would need to get to Stanstead or Heathrow which would cost quite a bit itself and as we arent driving we can't get the ferry. So its Eurostar or nothing!

I can't believe its £50 each just to get from Norwich to London but unfortunetely we would need to be in London during rushhour to get the Eurostar around 9.30am.
