cheap lcd hdtv's

hi, im currently upgrading all of my home entertainment system but am stuck on choosing the tv

im after an LCD tv which is HD ready. i would prefer to have a 32" one, but anything larger than 26" would be ok. i was just wondering what people would recommend.

im on a bit of a budget and the cheapest 32" one ive found is £317...the cheaper the better really, can anyone help out?

many thanks in advance

Brad

edit: "...the cheaper the better really" :?

Take a look on AV Forums, there are reviews of lots of circa £300 LCD TV's on there.

There are also some on here if you use the search option.;-)

If you're looking for ones less than £317 delivered then that limits it......
For 32" - There's the Hannspree from Ebuyer £299 and one at £309 and theres also an Elonex Hyundai at £309 from them.

Theres an Orion on Currys and with codes and quidco this could be brought down to about £310

There's a Mirai for about £310 delivered

or a Teco for about £320

Problem is its not easy searching for an LDC HD TV as you can't search for lcd or tv or HD (not enough characters)...

Yea agreed, sorry, I didn't realise the search option was quite so restrictive on here.

Are you just looking for the cheapest LCD not taking into consideration quality? Will you be using it or is it just for decoration

No what you mean Don - if you think about it, its likely to be used at least 2-3 hours every day so its worth getting a decent one. But I can understand where the op is coming from. Not everyone can stretch their budget by another hundred or so to get a branded tv. None of the tv's I've mentioned are without their faults but then if you look at ones for £150 more (although better) they are not faultess either. It makes choosing a nightmare....
