Me and my fiancee have had enough of the council estates, chavs, weather and everything else, we need a break, can anyone help?

it will be our first time abroad and we have very limited budget, we just need one or two weeks away for a reasonable price...

can anyone recommend anywhere to look please?

any help would be appreciated greatly

Really need more info :-(

Where would you prefer to go?
When would you prefer to go?
Where are you? Nearest Airport?
How much do you want to spend? (One persons reasonable price is another persons expensive)

Clube Praia da Oura is cheap especially during feb/march/april, 1 week accom in a smart studio (i have been) can be got for 70 quid per apartment, ask the travel agent for deals (links below). The weather is very good at this time of year and you get great deals in the bars and restaurants as its not too busy. The complex is very near 'the strip' so you have plenty of things to do and see, bus runs from outside the complex to Albuferia and the Algarve's capital Faro.

when ringing the travel agents state you dont want flights or transfers just accommodation. Flights can be got very cheap through Monarch airlines (Gatwick to Faro). 10 euros will get you a transfer from Faro to the resort (its a 30 min drive)

This area is Portugal is lovely, especially at this quiter time of year and is well worth a visit!

We managed to get a week, with flights and accom plus transfers for two of us for around 230 quid, thats for both not each!

hope this helps

just found a review page from Holiday watchdog , all good reviews ...

Where would you prefer to go? Greece/spain/portugal (somewhere calm and warm)
When would you prefer to go? July-Oct
Where are you? Nearest Airport? Leeds/Bradford
How much do you want to spend? (One persons reasonable price is another persons expensive) 300-500

July and August are the 2 of the most expensive months to travel. Prices vary greatly between July and October. A lot of the Greek resorts start to closed down for the winter around the middle of October so if you leave it that late to go to Greece you could find a lot of things closed.

Is your budget per person or in total?

try www.otbeach.com, 1 week in tenerife for 2 in mid sept for £400 (fligths £111 each+fuel supp, cheapest room £112 per week)and have to arrange own transfer to hotel.

hi, greece or greek islands are lovely, can be a quiet holiday or busy (nightclubs) depending where about you go on the islands.:)

on otherhand spain is lovely too we own property on the costa calida (la manga) and is great their but bewarned as during july and august its manic out their and also very hot!!!

we usualy go over may time or september october, as this is a nicer time for us, beaches arnt so busy and a nicer heat, last year thought we would go end of july, and nevert again, i love the sun and heat but this was too hot for me, we were sitting out at 2.30am and temp still 30%

so another bit of advice if you do decied to go july, august time makes sure that accomadation has air con.

good luck in finding somewhere, and im sure you will love it wherever you decide.!!!
