I have found some cheap "looking" companies on Ebay. You have to email for a firm price but the rates look reasonable ( the cheapest I could find on google, ask etc was £95!!!! ) Go onto Ebay and search " Parcel Courier Delivery, UK Next Day, Europe, Worldwide " ( HUKD will not allow Ebay links to be posted. )

    I hope this helps?

    Who offered it for £95?
I looked on ebay but didn't find anyone. Either the parcel was too heavy or didn't deliver to Canada

Any other ideas please. I was told by someone that you can drop a parcel off at the airport and it gets delivered really cheap is this true??

I got the £95 by searching " Parcel UK to Canada " on GOOGLE
I got about half a dozen quotes from £95 to £145 but considered them too expensive so I did not make note of the company, sorry.

cant your aunt take 2 suitcases long haul seeing as u are only wanting to send one via parcel?

Or donate the clothes to charity and buy some new ones. If you moving abroad then you need make some sacrifices.Keep anything that can't be bought again and donate rest to charity or if really decent stuff eBay it.

odd... thats the much music building in Toronto... and not houses or anything.... but I am having the same issue about getting my stuff to toronto...

I am also moving long distance, and I've felt a lot of anxiety about packing and moving all of my belongings. I love the idea about donating my clothing, dishes, books, movies, ect to charity... however, there are a lot of my belongings that I go want to keep. That dress that I wore to my sisters, best friend wedding, can totally go to charity. But a lot of my clothes, I wear often and most of them still fit me. I've wondered about courier options and I'm wondering what other options I have?
