    cheap ticket to london or walsall=-any ideas?

    im looking to book for a train ticket to london or walsall from manchester on 4th october for 2nights anyone have any ideas on how to get cheap tickets?

    To London, returning 6th, your looking at £200 (set times)
    For Walsall its £61 return (anytime)

    think this is only for train south/south west out of london

    Hi Train tickets come out about 12 weeks in advance.I know if you where going from newcastle you can get it for about £15 each way.Give eastcoast a ring 08457 225 225 opt 2 opt 6 they can look into anyone's tickets.Just explain your looking for an idea of the cost for when you are going.

    cos London is not on the west coast mainline, and Walsall is 1/2 the distance from Manc than London is

    Found Manchester to London 4-6 October for £66 return, leaving Manchester on 4th October around 11:00am and leaving London 6th October, at around 19:20 :thumbsup: You'll need to go to Virgintrains.co.uk

    HOWEVER, Virgin only release cheap tickets 12 weeks in advance so if you look beginning/mid September you should find some for around £15.00 each way (12 September is showing £11 singles atm)

    could try the ]Megabus ?
    takes about 4 hours manchester to london, but will be cheap.. usually around £4 if you book in advance
