im looking for two new tyres for my ford ka any ideas on the cheapset place?

    im sure i saw a 2 for 1 offer somewhere is that a good deal?

    would it be cheaper to buy them online and fit them myself or would that not be advisable due to checking they are balanced etc?

    I used a few weeks ago and they were very good. The price was good and they came to my house to fit them.

    Unless you know exactly what you are doing to fit your own tyres then I'd leave it to the experts as if your tyre goes at 70mph because it isn't fitted properly you'd more than likely be in a pretty bad state.

     used to be very good on price and fitting is included.

    mytyres for sure.

    get them delivered to your house, then pop along to motosave or somewhere and get them to fit and balance as well as dispose of the old.

    i bought 2 x bridgestone re060's to fit 17" rims. they cost £160 for both. motosave fitted them for £11.97!
    total = £171.97.

    quote from the cheapes tyre place was £255 all in. and they even said that it might be a little more.

    Have you tried Costco trade warehouse? They sell Goodyear at competitive prices and fit and balance them. You have to be a member (around £20 per year I think)however they sell everything from food to clothes to furniture etc.Membership is not confined to trade- it's available to various professions/organisations
