    Cheapest branded tyres.

Hello guys, anyone have recommendations on good places to buy brand new car tyres fully fitted balanced etc?

Also does speed rating matter too much. My car has tyres with speed rating H currently but have been told that V rating would be fine. Does that sound right?

Hyundai. Not a F1 driver but I do go on long trips occasionally 4 to 5 hour motorway driving other than that motorways, country roads and city driving.

    205/55/16 speed rating H

Camskills, black circle , tyre shopper, my tyres or Costco . There are others sites and places about but it might work out cheaper buying the tyres then getting them fitted by your local garage. This is normally about £10 per corner.

Costco is always my preference - I have the same size tyres as you. Check out CrossClimate tyres if you don't swap to winter tyres...

Hankook or Avon are two good middle of the road brands that are usually prices well

You can out on a V instead of H as its a higher rating, you cant however go lower that the manufacturer spec as may invalidate your insurance

Depends where you live, but thetyregroup.co.uk/tyr…lts has some decent brand Tyres, Firestone, Avon , Hankook around £50 fully fitted for the size ( 205/55/16) you quoted.
I use these all the time usually ring my local branch and they price match the internet price, that way I get them the same day and pay in branch.

Uniroyal rainexpert and dunlop blu response reccommended and well priced.

Fantastic prices I don't live anywhere near the places they use though.

I can vouch for Hankook. Though my car slides at any hint of dampness turning right...
    Great grip otherwise though.

Another vote for Costco if you're a member, or know someone who is.

Otherwise try etyres or black circles

Always hear people talking well about F1 Autocentre (I'm in N.Ireland none here) They have the Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance 91V going for £53.80 fitted (I used Manchester for fitting as an example)

    F1 AutoCentres

Blackcircles also have it for £53.92 and have many more fitting places.

The most recent offer has just finished. I believe it's every 2/3 months.
