cheers for that mate thats the cheapest i've found too and probably the one i'll go with. Been looking at netbooks for a long time now. Originally was going to go with the eee pc 1000h, but you reckon the nc10 is the best?

I've been looking for a while and this HAS to be the cheapest.. I haven't seen anything about the seller before but amazon seem to have it covered with their protection policy.
Hope this works as I've not posted before.

£250 + £5.35 P+p
amazon.co.uk/gp/…new

For that price, I am tempted.. I currently use an old IBM Thinkpad and I love it.. But I was just in PCWorld and had a little play with the Advent 4211c and it was great.

Very tempted.

I would buy this NC10 in an instant, but it just seems too good a deal.. Assuming that this is a rip off, does anyone have any experience with Amazons 'protection policy'? Are you really covered? Without hisitation?

If so, I am tempted to have a punt on this!

What the hell.. I went for it.. I read their protection policy over and over and I can't see how they can get out of giving me a refund, IF the sellers rips me off.

Even if they do, I can always claim against my Credit Card company...

Nothing like a bit of impulsive buying to brighten up an otherwise dull Monday

LOL :-D
I went through the same thought processes.. so if you HAVE been ripped off so have I!!!
Now all I need is a decent sleeve.. what will I look up when I have all things netbooky??:whistling:

I got a reply from them and they seem pretty genuine.. But I guess time will tell.. Quite how/why you can be selling something like this for £50 less than normal and have NO feedback is a mystery.. But you have to start somewhere I guess.

Time will tell.. Fingers crossed... If it all goes wrong, we can compare notes

price doesn't seem to be there anymore guys, just getting on now so missed it today. Think i'll go with a reputable company though, but let me know how it goes. Can't wait to get mine!

Good price for that but cant see it myself.
If anyone spots any similar deals then please post as im looking to buy a NC10 aswell.

Ditto love a NC10 - think we should start a separate forum!

Dixons even....:whistling:

how do you select the interest free option~?

I beleive there are two options through Dixons, by now pay later. i.e pay at month 11 of 12 and no interest charge.

Or spread payments over monthly period, with HUGE interest charge...

Both are normally options to select when going through payment stage.

It would appear that it WAS too good to be true. Amazon have cancelled the order saying that there was no stock. Bummer.
