    CHEAPEST PRICE FOR MICROSOFT WORD

I am looking for the cheapest price for Microsoft Word. I have two laptops - one has Vista and one has XP - will it work with both and if so do you know where I can buy it for the cheapest price?

    Instore or online?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Many thanks.

If you are a student or know a student there was an offer to get Office Ultimate edition for £38.95. Really good deal as I think for a little extra you can have it on more than one computer.

Don't bother giving bill gates any of your cash.

Complete office suite 100% foc and will work on both machines and will be pretty compatible with any docs you get that were done in micro$oft software.

The cheapest way to get Word is to buy this

    amazon.co.uk/Mic…8-1

It is the Office 2007 Home and Student edition and costs between £75 and £99 depending where you buy it from. It is £75 from Amazon.

It contains Word, Excel, Powerpoint and One note.

It runs un XP or Vista

And it can be installed legally on 3 computers.

Any chance you can point me in the right directioin of the vista offer please?

If you intend to be legal and don't want to try OpenOffice, then I think the Student and Teacher version (£75+) will be better than the "ultimatesteal" offer, as I think the ultimate steal one can only be installed on 1 machine, whereas, as has been pointed out, the Student/Teacher version can be legally put on 3.

I'm not saying that it can't be done, just that if the OP want to do it legally (and lets face it, they could always get hold of a copy from somewhere for free if they chose to) then the Student/Teacher version is better as LEGALLY I think you can only use the UltimateSteal offer on one machine.

I don't know, as I havn't used it, but I suspect this is the case.

I think you can only use the UltimateSteal offer on one machine.

You can use it on more than one machine legally as it says so on the website. Like I said at the top you pay a little extra (I think £5) and you can have it on multiple computers. The Ultimate Edition is better than the Student Edition.

My apologies wilbur7, I missed that in your post. In that case then it really is a bargain, provided the OP has a ac.uk email address.

If you know anyone who works for the NHS then you can get Office 2007 for £18. ]Here.
