Cheapest Way to Holiday at Disneyland Paris?

10
Found 14th Jul 2008
Me & my boyfriend have had enough of Center Parcs and next year want to go somewhere different. We both want to go to Disneyland Paris so we are going to look at going there offpeak next year.

Does anyone know of the cheapest way to holiday at Disneyland Paris? Ideally we want to go for one or two nights and keep the cost down to a minimum of £300 per person.

Thanks

we went in feb half term this year-4 nights in the new york was aprox £700 for 4 of us. We drove. The Chunnel cost us around £70 return and the tolls approx £20 then petrol i cant estimate...we choce to go by car as we could get arund while there..we had an overnight stop each way cost around £35 each night and filled the car with duty-free on the way back! we didnt spend much there as the cost of food was silly so we shopped at the val de s'ere(sp) big supermarket-it was really great and would go again!

what is the cheapest way to buy enterance tickets? on the door , in advance, from the internet?

oh sorry just saw your answer! we got them included in the hotel price-5 days park entry for all 4 of us. It would have worked out a silly price to buy them if we had stayed anywhere else off disney. cant recall exact price but around £20 each per day?
I booked at eurodisney site for the new york and the hotel was lovely and close to walk, s you can go in early and come back for breakfast! food was lovely there too!

oh just looked at the site and i think they were cheaper to buy there-but im sure someone else knows better than me..i can see it gets cheaper on the disney site the longer you stay so if just two day possibly better to buy there...

Just seen that there are some coach trips / excursions that look pretty good. There is one that is three days, two nights stay at the Santa Fe Disney Hotel, two park hopper tickets and travel in "executive coaches" which is £170. That seems ok.

Anyone ever gone to Disney with a coach trip?

no but we went by car and its a long way from us in Warrington! had an overnight stop. For just two of you it should be fine. The Santa fe isnt far from the park and the shuttle goes round all the time. I dont know what its like but all the hotels looked lovely.
I have looked at the prices and depending when you are going that looks a good price..compare with the disney site?

I have gone on a coach (never again - famous last words!! - Leger travel)
But book it yourself. Book your hotel online with disneylandparis (passes will be included if you stay in disney hotel) Since your going off season - look for the 3 nights for price of 2 or 4 nights for price of 3 etc...
Then book some flights - via low budget airline. There is a shuttle bus call VEA which will take you to disney from Charles De Gaulle airport

Best way by far.... (Also goto Buffalo bills - excellent - not cheap but well worth it)

ps - book via quidco (disneyland paris resort)
ps - All disney hotels are nice (even santa fe - just a bit busy at breakfast times) - I prefer sequoi lodge - just because of location - but all are great.

Thanks for the tips. The problem I am having is that the airport closest to me, Norwich Airport, does not fly out to Paris so I would have to go to London to get a flight and just getting to London is pricey!!

I tried looking at prices for the Eurostar but their site refuses to give me a price!

We have flown and done eurostar - both are ok but each a very different experience! I found both ok - oh yes we have also done the tunnel and driven - wouldn't do that again it took forever with 4 kids! we have stayed at the new york and have splashed out and stayed at the pink disneyland hotel which is fantastic but pricey!! We have always booked direct via disney web site and sorted travel seperately and we went on air miles once! I would never go in Feb as it was sooooo cold it even snowed and we were going back to the hotel to have a bath at lunch time just to get warm it was grim....
