Cheapest way to renew Playstation Plus

I usually buy my Stepson 12 months of Playstation Plus for Christmas.
Previously it has been around £35 for the year.
CD Keys currently have it for £47, or rather they don't have any stock of it.

Is there any cheaper way of getting it or is that the price now?

No, subscription runs until some time in January. So the renewal doesn't work.
Not bothered about it being a fancy card, its usually a print off of a code from CD Keys.

I am sure a few weeks ago Amazon sent me codes for Playstation, after having bought three phones from them
Perhaps I am mistaken, just search my emails now now.com can't find them
