Check Argos Stock 10 Stores at a Time, or Automatically With Email Update

Found 4th Feb 2011
icheckstock.co.uk/ is a site that lets you enter an Argos catalogue number and a postcode. It then checks for stock in 10 shops at a time.

You can also set it up to check for stock over a period of 7 days and send an email when it comes in - either for home delivery or in store.

Very useful, but should this be in deals?

At the moment, the "go to deal" link doesn't go through to icheckstock.co.uk/

I have asked the moderators to fix it.

Brilliant!

Dunno. It isn't a single deal. Its a tool for finding stock for other deals.

Probably not, but I'm still dead grateful!

Oh yes, agree wholeheartedly, it's an excellent find and heat added. But you know what people are like on this site for being picky about where things are posted.

Added to bookmarks thanks!

Moved to MISC as its not an actual deal link, but thanks again for posting ahenry

you can do same on argos site:|

brilliant idea think this will be greatly used

you can only check up to 2 stores at one time so it gets annoying going back to the same screen 5 times to do the same as this does.

Thanks to this I now know that there are only 3 Argos stores with grey Orange Sanfranciscos in the UK and they are all in Scotland 600 odd miles away

For those who even care about this they were Stranrar, Wick and Fort

I really need to get a life if I have time to check through 790 stores for that oO

I guess I could be wrong then but I can only search two at a time usually.

I think Argos must have changed recently as Banita is correct it does do it on Argos now.

You would have thought they could come up with a system that would tell you the nearest one available rather than having to ask wouldn't you.

My apologies to Banita for being wrong sorry!

The first link I got to through the Argos got me to select two stores and only checked stock at those. I then got to a page with the results for the 10 closest stores. However, you couldn't then click on the list to see the 11th-20th, 21st - 30th etc - you have to enter another town or post code.

5186620 (No Stock Found
Orange San Francisco Mobile Phone - Grey.
5186644 (Stock Available)
Orange San Francisco Mobile Phone - White.

Cheers saved me time. Now they have added free £10 airtime with phone so gonna be even harder if they do ever get them back in stock

Thanks for the heads up. Gets a bit tedious searching 2 at a time on the Argos website. Beyond me why they can't query more than 2...

Thanks OP.

nice thanks

Dang it, I wish I'd known about this earlier when trying to find a store with all items in stock with a special offer. If you enter town, on the argos website, you get 10 results, 2 for the postcode. This however can do 100 miles from where I live. Now I just need to get there.

Ta!
