thank you brain not in gear:thinking:

    Dixons Stores Group.

I used to work for them. No idea about the millions they lost, but the staff discount was ****.

And the point of this thread is?

    30 million squid

    35 million squid

hmm well they are next to go to the wall.

well whatever the amount it's a lot. The banks are pulling in their finances and this is why all these big firms are in trouble.

Well...with all these company's going bust.....if all else fails, at least we still have the "The Congratulations and Posters Milestone Thread" on HUKD......:w00t:

Edit : 30m loss isnt too bad....would like to see their total debt though to get a better idea of how probable the group is going to go kapoot....more deals! WooHoo!

Its not a loss they never had the money to begin with!

I was the nearest, what do I win? Woolworths gift vouchers?

not at all. Just means you'll get a letter stating that you're dividend would have been paid at the end of next year and congratulations on becoming a shareholder in Woolies. Money gone down the toilet quicker than John McCririck's horse racing tips. Lets face it, you've got a better chance of making money on the Woolies shares than with McCririck's tips. :w00t:

Exactly. The so called 'loss' is based on previous trading. They made no 'loss', just not as much 'profit' as last year.

wow 2 pages and no tree fiddy comments........ impressive.

    anyway I blame MSE
