Chickenpox

Hi,

I was around my girlfriend's niece yesterday and now found out today that she's possibly got chickenpox, now I have never had chickenpox and I'm in my 30's, is there a high chance I could get chickenpox? I was around my family when I was young who got it and I never got it, am I possibly immune? Also other people who have had chickenpox carry the virus?

Any info would be helpful, this is probably payback for not socially distancing enough

You might have had very mild chickenpox as a child?

Yes you can catch it, it is possible to get it twice but more worrying as an adult you could get shingles.

Would second this, it's possible to get shingles if you've had chickenpox in the past, it lays dormant...

Thanks for the info guys it's much appreciated
If you do get it, it’s bad as an adult and can make you shoot blanks from now on....
