Child safety window locks

Hi all.

We have UPVC windows.

We have young children and need to be able to restrict how far the windows can open.

Does anyone have a solution, which doesn't involve making holes in the window frames?

you could diy a system using sticky pads and a restricted but when child's lives are at stake its best to use secure restricters using screws, if you are worried about leaving holes in the window frame when they are no longer needed , the holes would not be seen as they would be inside the frame, and besides they can be filled with white sealant, hope that helps

 Sound advice from bigkev2001

You tube might give you some ideas of what's available

You can swap the hinges for hinges with restrictors on them where they will only open 100mm ish until you press a release on the hinge. You will probably need a window company to swap them for you if you've quite a few it'll work out approx 25 quid per opener I'd guess
