not much help I'm afraid but a junior is a bit bigger and longer than a cotbed and still smaller than a single.

if you have a cotbed it would be best to go straight to a single and add a bed guard in my opinion ;-)
saves having to buy another bed in the future and all the bedding that goes with

maybe argos sell both and will show dimensions, or even a quich search on ebay

Cot bed : 145cm long, 77cm wide and 92cm high ]source

Junior bed: 149L x 72W x 60H cm ]source

I must admit that I hate that my daughters bedding doesn't fit her toddler bed

I can't wait for her to get a bigger bed really so that the duvet sits nice and isnt' all bunged up.

The nice thing about the toddler bed is that it is low to the floor. The little ones also don't look so lost in it.
