Children's Telescope

Hi there, wonder if you can help. I am looking for a telescope for my 9-year old. He tells me he would like to look at the stars and moon. This will probably be a 5 minute wonder so don't want to spend too much but also don't want one that you can't see much out of!! I know nothing at all about telescopes so any help gratefully received. Looking at spending no more than about £35. Thanks.

]Tesco have reduced theirs to £29.99 plus with the ]£5 off voucher a bit of a bargain (plus you can get it delivered to a store for free hopefully)

Argos have a junior one for £24.99 and you can also get "free" binoculars (postage and packaging charge of £2.50).

hi-dont know where you live but if near a qvc they often have the expensive ones for silly prices-worth a ring?

They're not childs scopes per se but try the celestron ones on amazon for around £30, they're good solid starter telescopes with good software for finding stars.
