    Chirtening Present!!!

    :?

I am in need of some advice! I am off to Ireland in a couple of weeks for my Neice's Christening.

I am after suggestions on unique and 'special' presents that we could get! Don't want to break the bank, but want something nice.

Have looked at trust funds and saving certificates but for some crazy reason, only the parents of the child can set these up!!!!!

    Anyone?

Well, I was hoping for something Celtic, or of Irish origin!!!!

    OK,

    This is very nice:-

    QU14 Irish Christening Quaich
    19mm tall.
The quaich is used as a loving cup in Scotland and is given as a gift at weddings and christenings and many other occasions.

The Irish inscription on this quaich 'Nuabheirthe' means 'New Born'. The triscele in the centre is an ancient Celtic symbol of union and represents the trinity of Father, Mother and Child

Not sure if the following is any good for you but at 10% AER it's a good deal and will give a child good start on the savings ladder. You don't have to be the parent to apply.
