Christmas breaks/hotel stay with kids

Hi looking for somewhere to go over christmas 2adults and 2kids youngest is 3
Would want some sort of activities for them
Santa visit
Christmas dinner ect
Have seen center parcs has anyone been and how did they find it ?
Also what are some good alternatives ???

Premier inn Trafford centre. There is a winter wonderland at event city as well which is a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

Grundy world of christmas has been running for a good few years now & getsd rave reviews from the locals, BBCradio 4 mentions it frequently towards christmas.

Its near Borchester & there is local accommodation of both B&B varieties or at the local posh hotel grey gables I think it is, (also featuring xmas activities & above ground tree walks)
