Christmas Day Menu

What are you planning to have for xmas dinner? Do you go traditional and have the turkey with all the trimmings or do you prefer to have something a little more unusual?

I like to cook for us, this year its Wagyu beef with all the traditional trimmings.

Make us all hungry with the tales of your epic feast!!

Having turkey for a change this year.

Pushing the boat out this year and having a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.

Go out, with a somewhere close to 18 people, cooking isn't easy so it's go out.. no hassle and you don't eat too much!

My son insists on crocodile every year

Working Christmas day but will be having French Onion soup followed by turkey in the evening which I may have to heat up as I expect everyone will be sleeping off the dinner by the time I get back oO

Banned

Anything apart from Xmas Pudding - Revolting stuff

I know it's odd but we are having Lamb.

Traditional turkey with all the trimmings at mine. As usual I'll be stuffed too full of chocs and wine by then and won't want dinner!

Buying pizza the day before so I can heat some up for Xmas day sat on the Xbox

got to be turkey but we are going to florida . so it will be round the pool

Lamb, gammon, half a metric ton of cheese and probably enough rum that I can't see any more. Never intend to, but that seems to happen every xmas. Then I magically get really good at FPS and don't remember it and revert back to being rubbish the next day.

Indian restaurant

Do you all do starters? I got asked what I wanted today, I had no clue.

Indian restaurant

Mmmmmm. A mushroom omelette from the local Indian is hard to beat. If it's a good restaurant, you'll get some nice gravy on it.

Turkey crown and all the trimmings for most of us. Husband hates turkey so has a fillet steak. Cheese board and grapes to follow as no one is keen on Christmas pudding
No starters here. We have bucks fizz and nibbles while waiting for it to cook. Smoked salmon, cream cheese, lemon on Melba toast is the big favourite

We sometimes have a soup or prawn cocktail. Tbh though, I think starters spoil your dinner by killing your appetite.

Who wants to cook on Christmas!

I'm inclined to agree, there's so much I want to eat that day and only so much space. Can't think what would be nice enough to make the list.

Mussels are fabulous . You have to try them

Turkey is just chicken with a tan. Except it's drier and less tasty. I'm having chicken.
