Chrono Trigger on the Wii VC!!1

OMG, I have been following the recent developments in the Wii scene over the last week or so and it look's like they are making some superb progress.
Apart from finding a way of getting VC games on to your Wii without paying for them (this is stealing, and wrong!) they have now found a legitimate way of getting your own Roms onto the console and running them with Nintendos in-built emulators, thus meaning we can now play games on the VC that Nintendo have NOT released.
So far I have seen Chrono Trigger and Super Smash Bros released and am waiting (with baited breath) for someone to hack Golden Eye, as Nintendo can not legally release that, now that Microsoft own the dev (Rare), unfortunately reports are so far that it doesn't work yet

hoohaa After seeing all the snes and megadrive roms flooding onto usenet, I never once thought... HEEEEY. Goldeneye on the freakin wii!

I seriously hope nintendo take this as a kick in the balls to STOP RESELLING US GAMES WE ALREADY BOUGHT.

I don't want wii fit or anymore generations **** either. I just want as many core games as there are casual. Not hard to ask, but Nintendo really are being ****** about it.

Yep, I mean if they weer going to release Chono trigger or Golden Eye, I would be happy to pay for them, as I feel that good stuff should and rightly deserves to gain money, but it seems like they are just bringing rubbish to the VC, Mario games by the bucket, Sonic also, nothing that really grabs me and says "hey, buy me now!!" if they released good stuff I would buy it, as it is, we have to hack their emulators, just like the PS1 emulator on the PSp, I can see this going the same way very quickly.
It was only yesterday that a few people had got this working, now there are scene releases of two very popular game, people are just going to try and out do each other with whatever games they can find that run

Mike..

i would get a wii for chrono trigger, best rpg ever designed by toriyama so ****ing goodd!

Heard so much about this game but haven't played it.

I only have a few fond memories of the game. Played it on an emulator when I was about 12 (ten years ago) and I thought it was good. Not great.

My favourite snes RPG memories come from illusion of time (gaia to the yanks) and Donkey Kong country 3. I think the megadrive was the better console in that generation as well, and I'm a pretty avid nintendo fan.

I remember playing Chrono Trigger when I was hospital when I was kid - and I quite liked it!

How can yousay that, teh Megadrive was terrible, awful palette of colours to chooses from, poor graphics and abysmal sound!
The only thing going for it was Sonic, and that got rubbish after the (2 hours to complete on day of purchase) 2nd one!

The snes how ever had many great classics, FF 4+6, chrono Trigger, Ilussiion of Gaia and it's sequel (that was never released in the USA!!) Terranigma, Dragon Quest, Zelda: Link to the past, Chrono Trigger, Bahamut Lagoon....the list of awesome RPG's on the Snes is endless, not to mention it was the 1st home console (outside of Japan) to have any version of SF II running on it, I remember buying a copy of Street Fighter II: World Warriors on my birthday many many moon's ago for £65!!!!
