First time in ages saw this and laughing so much that I have to stop.

Love the music but wow what an ending. Only the actor and director
knew what would happen at the end and you can see the reaction of the
extras as it unfolded.

Be prepared to laugh

I refuse to watch anything from the BBC until they abolish the license fee!

Then watch it on YouTube, although in fairness Dads Army was from a time when the licences were a lot less and they made half decent stuff. Not like the utter tripe made nowadays.

In reality my gripe with the BBC is that I believe everything should be available on iPlayer as channel 4 do with 4 on demand or whatever it's called nowadays. As it is I have had to pay for dads army, ofah, open all hours, porridge, Fawlty towers etc etc whereas surely we have already paid for them (_;)

How would you like television to be funded?

Even stuff on comercial stations is partly funded by tax payers ;-)

I wasn't being serious, I don't mind paying the license fee. Just wish I could watch BBC programmes when I wanted, instead of having to buy the DVDs.
