Clean Washing powder stain of tarmac drive

Found 11th Aug 2017
Soap powder has come up from the Drain from my washing Machine
It has gone down my tarmac drive and left a white stain on my tarmac
I have tried to jet wash it clean but this has just made it bigger and more lines as it Drains down the tarmac drive
What will take the stain away as Only had it tarmaced about two month ago
It Looks a right mess

I would be very careful using a jet wash on asphalt as it can break it up if it's too higher pressure , I have heard of cola working to remove stains but I would try on a small area first and just use a hose to rinse it off.
WD40 can be applied first to try and pull the stain out , let it soak in for 30 mins to pull the stain out, have a google there are plenty of options to try.
It will weather off eventually, the soap has probably reacted with the oil in the drive hence the stain, just my opinion
I'd be reluctant to use WD40 - could break down the tar/oils in the tarmac! I agree that jet washing could also damage the tarmac.

Washing powder is water soluble - I'd try some "warm" water and old rags - dabbing the surface to see if the stain will pull off!

Good luck.
